1. Information We Collect

To provide you with a seamless smart home experience, we may collect the following information:

• Account Information: When you sign up using Google or Email, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture via Firebase Authentication.
• Device Information: We collect your ESP32 device's unique ID, MAC address, firmware version, and local IP address to facilitate control and updates.
• Wi-Fi Credentials: During initial setup, you provide your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi SSID and password via Bluetooth. This data is sent directly to your smart device and is never stored on our cloud servers.
• Usage Data: We collect device states (ON/OFF), schedules, and timers to sync across your devices.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• To enable remote control of your devices via MQTT (Cloud) and Local Area Network (LAN).
• To deliver Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware updates securely via GitHub.
• To automate actions based on your schedules and timers.

3. Permissions We Require

• Bluetooth (BLE): Required to scan for nearby devices, pair with them, and send local commands without internet.
• Location: Required by Android OS to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. We do not track or store your physical location.
• Notifications: To alert you when a device goes offline or a timer completes.
• Local Network: Required to send commands directly to your ESP32 over Wi-Fi.

4. Third-Party Services

We use industry-standard services to ensure app stability and security:

• Firebase (Google): For secure authentication, database hosting, and crash reporting.
• EMQX / MQTT Broker: For secure cloud synchronization and remote control.
• GitHub: To securely host and deliver firmware updates.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly from the app (Profile -> Delete Account). This action is permanent and will remove your devices, schedules, and account information from our servers.

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for cloud communications. Local Bluetooth and LAN communications are protected by a secure PIN. However, please ensure your physical smart devices are installed by a qualified electrician.
